DR Costume Test - Rinji

5 of 6 in the series of Costume Tests for the DR In Memoriam OC ninja.

Rinji the Medic at 4, 11, and 17 respectively.

At four, Rinji is a recent orphan, his mother having been killed in "an accident" outside the walls of Konoha. He's a very shy, lonely child and is aware that some adults look give him wary glances but doesn't know why. He looks up to the head of the Orphanage (Hinata) and the Hokage, both of whom give him support after his mother dies. His first friend is Hana and he has a small crush on her.

Rinji, 11, is still very shy and gets easily flustered. He is polite, quiet and hardworking, with excellent chakra control, but his eyes seem to irritate him from time to time. He lives on his own now and often brings bento for his teammates, as one of them almost always forgets at least one meal. He's started taking an interest in medical jutsu and reads up on the subject whenever he gets a spare moment. He's utterly loyal to his teammates and his crush on Hana persists, despite the fact she's oblivious to it.

At 17, Rinji has begrudingly come to terms with the fact he's inherited Sharingan, though he tries to avoid using it whenever possible, save as a last resort. His ninjitsu is relatively limited, as he's specialized almost exclusively in medical jutsu and support techniques that keep him out of the direct line of fire. He's still very quiet and shy. He has by now learned the full circumstances behind his mother's "accident," something that troubles him deeply.

Rinji's primary element is fire and his specialization is medical jutsu and traps. He can also use his chakra control to his advantage to cause extra damage. Rinji is hopelessly in love with Hana and everyone sees it except Hana, lol.

Art Notes: Why is it that Uchiha children always look like they're about to cry? Dx I brainfarted on the colors of his genin jacket and shirt. Blech, his jounin clothes are so desaturated. He needs some more color (in his clothing and skin. Get some sun!)
