Ryuuhachi Shijuu

Feeling slightly human again, here have a Naruto fanninja-type for a fanfic.

One of ten brothers and cousin of Gakuto Nisoji, Ryuuhachi specializes in caravan security and works for his brother Koumu's trading company.

His specialty is the use of naginata and staff weaponry. He is very proficient and knows a few supplementary lightning and fire jutsu.

Ryuuhachi was separated from his brothers at age 16 by the war against Madara, their hometown completely razed in the fighting. At ease with convoys and supply caravans, Ryuuhachi was among civilians recruited to help guard the others as they fled from the fighting, deeper into Fire Country. He would return to combat areas several times on these convoys to complete evacuations and, in the fighting, adopted the naginata as his personal favorite weapon.

After the war, he was reunited with his brothers. Upon learning his brother Koumu wanted to secure a private security license through Konoha for his company's caravans, Ryuuhachi was one of the first brothers to sign on for the exam.

Ryuuhachi comes off as a bit of a loudmouth and childish hothead. Underneath, he is quiet and canny, allowing others to believe he's younger and liable to jump into things with no plans. He keeps all but his wife and family at a distance.

Ryuuhachi has a steamy relationship with his wife, Chiya, one which he has no problem boasting about. He brags they once had sex on the roof of the biggest palace in Fire Country. It's probably true.

Again, like his cousin Gakuto and Souichi the cop, he doesn't have a forehead protector because he's still considered a civilian.

His name is literally 柳八 (Willow+Eight) しじゅう (also written as 四十, which is forty) - so... forty-eight willows? IDK xD

He and his brothers are goddamn cool. I love them. They are case-in-point for civilian badasses.

Putting the ArtSBuck model into this position was a pain - it can't really grip, so the paintbrush that was serving as the "naginata" kept slipping out.
