Naruto had a feeling Sasuke was going to get him back for that last prank he pulled on him.

"Excuse me," a young boy called from behind him. "Hokage-sama?"

Naruto turned, squinting a little. His eyesight wasn't so good these days - but then again, what was these days? Hips going, arthritis... Gosh, that kid looked really familiar.

"Sandaime-sama, can you help me? I can't find my big brother and the entire Uchiha district is missing!" the boy pleaded.

"S-san-dai...? You..." Naruto blinked, he knew he was getting old, but that was... wait. He looked a little closer and immediately recoiled. "S-Sasuke?!"

"How did you know my name?" the boy said, with appropriately wide eyes which flickered briefly from grey to green.

Naruto paled. "Oh gods. It is you. We have to get you back."

The resulting time paradox could, well, Naruto couldn't even begin to count the ways that young Sasuke being here could screw things up.

Wait.

Green eyes?

Naruto frowned. "Genjutsu."

'Sasuke' bowed his head, a sheepish and utterly guilty expression on his face. Naruto quickly made the handseal to release it, revealing his grandson Minoru and - oh hell, what had Sasuke done to the boy's hair?! It made him look just like that idiot! Bad enough they were now in-laws, but that haircut...

"SASUKEEEEEE!" Naruto howled.

And then the elderly Uchiha poked his head out from behind a nearby tree, laughing as he leaned on his cane. "You should have SEEN your face, dead last!"

I recently finished up my big honking SK fanfic, Spice and Ice and Everything Nice, so here's an illustration to celebrate from ficlet number 99, Next Generation.

Namely, Sasuke and his grandson, Minoru, playing a prank on Naruto. IT'S NINJA TRAINING, RLY.

Naruto and Sasuke - older, yes. Aging gracefully? Not so much.

It doesn't help that their respective eldest children are married to each other. Competition for corrupting the grandkids? You bet your ass.

Um.

So yeah. If you're new to my watchlist, Minoru is the result of a NaruSaku kid marrying a SasuKarin kid. Hilarity ensues from both sides. Minoru shows up in my In Memoriam Tales fic as well, which I have pictures for in my gallery.

Other than that?

Um... not much.
